Security & Responsible Disclosure
How Silvertriverse Private Limited approaches security across its infrastructure, data handling, and AI systems, and how to report a vulnerability.
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Our Approach
Security is treated as a design constraint at SilverTriverse, not a feature added after launch. Every service is built against least-privilege access, encrypted transport, and clear ownership boundaries — the same principles described in our Technology overview.
This page exists because partners, investors, and candidates evaluating us deserve a straight answer about how we handle security, not just a badge. It is reviewed and updated as our infrastructure evolves.
2. Data Protection & Encryption
- All traffic between clients and our services is encrypted in transit (TLS).
- Sensitive and financially relevant data is stored in strongly consistent, access-controlled data stores, separate from general application data.
- Access to production data is limited to the individuals who need it for their role, and is not a default granted to the whole team.
- Data retention and deletion practices are described in full in our Privacy Policy.
3. Infrastructure & Access Control
- Authentication to internal systems uses unique credentials per person — shared logins are not used for production access.
- Infrastructure changes go through code review before deployment; there is no direct, unreviewed path to production.
- We favor horizontally scalable, service-isolated architecture so a failure or compromise in one area does not cascade into every other system.
4. Responsible Use of AI
Where AI systems are used in our products or internal workflows, we treat model output as a draft or recommendation, not a final authority — human review remains part of any consequential decision. We do not use AI systems to make final hiring, financial, or moderation decisions without human oversight.
5. Vulnerability Disclosure Program
We welcome good-faith security research. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in our Services, please report it to us before disclosing it publicly.
- Report to: cto@silvertriverse.com — include steps to reproduce, affected URL or system, and potential impact.
- We will acknowledge reports within 5 business days and aim to provide a resolution timeline within 10 business days of confirming the issue.
- Please avoid actions that could harm the availability of our Services (no automated scanning that degrades performance, no denial-of-service testing) or that access, modify, or exfiltrate data belonging to other users.
- We will not pursue legal action against researchers who report vulnerabilities in good faith, act within this policy's scope, and give us a reasonable opportunity to remediate before public disclosure.
6. Scope
In scope: silvertriverse.com and its subdomains, and the SilverTriverse super-app once publicly available. Out of scope: third-party services we integrate with but do not control, and social engineering or physical-security testing against our team.
7. Compliance & Standards
Our data-handling practices are built with the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and — for users located there — the EU GDPR and California CCPA in mind. See our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement for full detail.
