Intellectual Property & Licensing Policy
This Intellectual Property & Licensing Policy explains ownership of the SilverTriverse platform, the license granted to users of Digital Items, and our procedure for handling intellectual property infringement claims.
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Ownership of Platform IP
Unless otherwise indicated, all right, title, and interest in the Services, including all software, source code, design elements, trademarks, logos, the "SilverTriverse" name, and all underlying platform architecture, is owned by Silvertriverse Private Limited or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
2. License Grant to Users
Subject to your compliance with these policies, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for their intended personal, non-commercial purpose. This license does not include any right to resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services themselves, or to use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.
3. Digital Collectibles & Provenance Rights
Ownership of a Film Collectible Unit, Silver Coin, or other Digital Item grants you a limited license to display, hold, and transact with that specific item within the SilverTriverse ecosystem, as recorded in our provenance registry. It does not transfer to you any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights in the underlying cinematic work, character, footage, or brand that the Digital Item may reference or depict.
You may not extract, reproduce, or commercially exploit the underlying licensed cinematic IP represented by a Digital Item beyond the specific usage rights, if any, expressly granted to you at the time of issuance.
4. Cinematic IP & Third-Party Licensing
Certain content, footage, characters, and brand elements made available through the Services are licensed from third-party studios, production houses, and rights holders under separate licensing agreements. Such content remains the exclusive property of the respective rights holder and is used by SilverTriverse under limited, revocable license for the specific purposes of the Services.
5. User-Generated Content License
Where the Services permit you to submit, upload, or create content (including narrative submissions, community posts, or creator-economy content), you retain ownership of that content. By submitting it, you grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for formatting purposes only), and display that content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Services.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you submit and that such content does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
6. Trademarks
"SilverTriverse," associated logos, and product names (including Reelity, FCU, and Silver Coins) are trademarks or trade names of Silvertriverse Private Limited. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission, except as necessary to accurately describe your use of the Services (nominative fair use).
7. Restrictions
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services or included software.
- You may not use any data mining, robots, or similar data-gathering or extraction methods in connection with the Services without prior written consent.
- You may not remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices contained in or on the Services.
8. Intellectual Property Infringement Notices
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users of the Services to do the same. If you believe that content available through the Services infringes your intellectual property rights, please submit a written notice to contact@silvertriverse.com that includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work or trademark claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it on the Services.
- Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf.
9. Counter-Notice & Repeat Infringers
A user who believes their content was removed in error may submit a counter-notice with equivalent detail. We reserve the right to disable or terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of third-party intellectual property rights.
10. Contact
Intellectual property inquiries and infringement notices should be sent to contact@silvertriverse.com.
